About JASHC 2024
Makerere University College of Health Sciences (MakCHS), in collaboration with the
Uganda National Association of Community and Occupational Health (UNACOH), proudly
presents the 18th Joint Annual Scientific Health Conference (JASH), the
30th UNACOH
Conference, and the 22nd Dr. Mathew Lukwiya Memorial Lecture, scheduled for
October
16th-18th, 2024, at Hotel Africana in Kampala, Uganda, is a
premier gathering of health
experts, researchers, and stakeholders.
This year's conference is particularly special as it coincides with the centenary celebration of the Makerere University College of Health Sciences. In honor of 100 years of excellence in health education and research, the conference will spotlight the theme of "Advancing Global Health Security in Sub-Saharan Africa." Participants will engage in high-level discussions, share cutting-edge research, and collaborate on strategies to address critical health challenges in the region.
